If you are interested in singing free, being a musician, finding your true voice, removing fear and criticism, gaining a better insight into the world of improvisation, advancing your musical knowledge or simply becoming a better singer, please contact me. I can guide you to learn new concepts that will broaden your understanding of creativity and allow it to flourish. My contemplations will transform the way you relate to music. Sound, form, space and design are explored, as well as visual and spiritual components to singing. Learn to be a free thinker, sing with conviction, develop a personal relationship with music, set your song free and realize its beauty.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:
An insight into the art of singing, the Zen of Singing is a conceptual approach that combines personal facility, in depth harmonic study, innovatively designed improvisational exercises with self awareness, spirituality, creative philosophy, visualization, affirmations and musicology. Tailored to the individual's specific needs and areas of interest, its primary focus is to free the spirit to experience total creativity through mindful singing. Instructed by an experienced performing and recording vocal artist, composer, and poet in the field of creative music.

CURRENT NEWS: Nora has two new recordings as a sideman coming out soon, Toward The Hill Of Joy with trombonist, composer George Brandon's Septet, tentative release date January, 2010 and one that she just completed a live recording with legendary avant garde multi-instrumentalist and founder of Birth Records, Gunter Hampel and his European Trio on October 5, 2009 in NYC. Also, in December, 2010, Nora will record with Jorge Sylvester and The ACE Collective followed by a tour in Austria & Germany.
